Small Unit - Approximately 5' x 10' (50 square feet)
$55 per month
Our 5x10 storage units are approximately 5 feet wide and 10 feet long, equaling a total of about 50 square feet of storage space. The ceiling height of our 5x10 units can vary, but many units have an 8-foot ceiling, providing up to 400 cubic feet of storage space. For specific storage unit dimensions, talk to the property manager at your nearest Public Storage facility.
The size of your boxes and how you pack each item affects the total number of boxes that a 5x10 storage unit can hold. If you’re only storing boxes, a 5x10 self storage unit can fit up to 20 large boxes with room to spare. When stored with furniture or appliances, you may want to use a variety of small, medium and large boxes to make the most of the space you have.

Our 5x10 storage units as similar in size to an average walk-in closet. A 5x10 storage units can typically hold the contents of one mid-sized bedroom, including several boxes or storage containers. In total, you can store one or two large pieces of furniture in 5x10 self storage, perfect for a college dorm room or studio apartment.
Medium Unit - Approximately 10' x 8' (80 square feet)
$75 per month
Our 10x8 storage units are approximately 10 feet wide and 8 feet long, equaling a total of about 80 square feet of storage space. The ceiling height of our 10x8 units can vary, but many units have an 8-foot ceiling, providing up to 640 cubic feet of storage space. For specific storage unit dimensions, talk to the property manager at your nearest Public Storage facility.
A 80 square foot storage unit can hold the contents of an entire bedroom with space for a few additional items or about two standard rooms of space. Our 10x8 storage units are comparable in size to a large walk-in closet you would find in your home. If you’re moving or completing a home renovation, this is a great option to hold boxes and furniture such as sofas, desks, kitchen tables and chairs, and more.
Large Unit - Approximately 10' x 20' (200 square feet)
$130 per month or XL 10 x 22 (220 square feet) $143.00/mo
Our 10x20 storage units are approximately 10 feet wide and 20 feet long, equaling a total of about 200 square feet of storage space. The ceiling height of our 10x20 units can vary, but many units have an 8-foot ceiling, providing up to 1,600 cubic feet of storage space. A 10x20 storage unit is about the size of a standard one-car garage. For specific storage unit dimensions, talk to the property manager at your nearest Public Storage facility.
A 10x20 storage unit is great for storing contents of a multi-bedroom home, about up to four or five rooms of space. Larger items like living room furniture, patio furniture, full-sized appliances and more fit inside these units. 10x22 storage units also work well for storing large quantities of boxes or outdoor equipment as well as household furniture and more.
